Exploring the Many Voices of Australia Through Literature
18 February 2021
Our first exciting event for 2021 is entitled “Exploring the Many Voices of Australia Through Literature”. Rowan Simpkin from the National Centre for Australian Children’s Literature (NCACL) will present ideas and resources suitable for both school and adult settings, including from the Centre’s Culturally Diverse Database and its Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander Resource.
Participants will also be given the opportunity to look at drafts, manuscripts and original illustrations of some of Australia’s well-loved creators and see how they create books. Yes, we are planning this to be a face-to-face event at the NCACL located inside the University of Canberra Library.
Thursday 18 February 2021, 4:30 – 6:30pm
This professional learning event has been approved for 2 hours with the TQI.
Registration will open in late January.
