Museum educators will explore a variety of resources including the Australia’s Defining Moments Digital Classroom, and present a range of pedagogies, objects, narratives, and images that can assist your EAL/D students to develop their linguistic and semiotic capacities. These pedagogies and resources will also enhance students’ understanding of Australian history and social life by engaging with the stories and contributions of First Nation’s peoples and Australia’s past and present migrant settlers.

Please consider joining ATESOL ACT or your State/Territory TESOL association as there will be many other PL opportunities throughout the year. To join CLICK HERE.

END-OF-YEAR SOCIAL EVENT

Due to the on-going inclement weather, the social event will be held after the 5pm ATESOL ACT AGM on 24th March at the Jamison/Macquarie Southern Cross Club – more details soon!

In the light of the weather forecast (showers) and the soggy ground, your Committee has regretfully decided to postpone our much anticipated social event to early in 2022.
(date TBC)
We are so sorry not to meet up with you before the end of the year. We sincerely hope next year will bring
better things!
