On Friday 6th May, interested professionals from all sectors gathered at the ANU for a workshop facilitated by Lauren Sadow, a PHD candidate with an extensive background in the fields of Linguistics and TESOL. The workshop developed teachers’ understanding of how culture and cultural values can be expressed through language, and how these aspects of language can be taught to students learning English.
